Motorcycle accidents injure 2 men

Two motorcyclists were seriously injured Saturday afternoon in separate accidents just minutes apart.

Around 3:12 p.m., a 19-year-old man was injured when the motorcycle he was operating collided with a car at the intersection of Leilehua Golf Course Road and Kamehameha Highway.

Paramedics transported to the man to a local trauma center in serious condition.

Just before 3:30 p.m., a 21-year-old man was injured in a solo motorcycle crash on the H-1 freeway, eastbound, near the Pearl City cutoff.

He, too, was transported to a local trauma center in serious condition.
