Police arrested a 42-year-old Salt Lake man for alleged criminal property damage stemming from an argument with his live-in girlfriend.

Police said the man and the 39-year-old woman, who reside together, were arguing on Tuesday when the suspect entered the woman’s vehicle and damaged property. The woman sustained minor injuries in the incident.

The man fled, but was found at a Best Western hotel on North Nimitz Highway Sunday. He was arrested on suspicion of first- and third-degree criminal property damage and unauthorized entry into a motorized vehicle.
