New data center launching in Kapolei

Hawaii Pacific Teleport in Kapolei has announced the launch of the Hawaii Pacific Data center adjacent to its facilities, as a joint venture with New Jersey-based fifteenfortyseven Critical Systems Realty LLC.

Hawaii Pacific Data is designed to provide commercial and government clients with secure, high-availability, critical infrastructure, for the support of telecom operations, cloud presence, content delivery and IT data system hosting, along with access to international fiber optic and satellite providers.

HPT, long at Kapolei, is an international provider of satellite and fiber-based communications, and provides connectivity between the Americas, Asia and Australia. Its operations center will be used for round-the-clock support and maintenance for the data center.
