Nightclub part owner is arrested in second assault case

    Minority nightclub owner Michael Miske Jr. today denied assaulting Washington Redskins tackle Trent Williams at a Waterfront Plaza nightclub early Jan. 25.

Police arrested 39-year-old Michael Miske, part-owner of M Nightlife club, on suspicion of second-degree assault and criminal property damage for a Dec. 15 incident.

Miske is scheduled for trial July 1 on a second-degree assault charge for allegedly assaulting Washington Redskins tackle Trent Williams Jan. 25 at the nightclub.

Police said Miske and a 25-year-old man assaulted a 40-year-old man 3:45 a.m. Dec. 15, causing substantial bodily injury. When a 41-year-old woman tried to intervene, the 25-year-old man assaulted her, causing bodily injury.

The case is pending investigation. Miske has not been charged.

The 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of second- and third-degree assault.
