Pedestrian critically injured after being hit by SUV in Liliha

A pedestrian was critically injured Friday evening when she was struck by a sports utility vehicle on Liliha Street.
The accident happened about 8 p.m. near the intersection with Ekelakela Street.
The victim, a 53-year-old woman, was taken by Emergency Medical Services to a trauma center.
Police closed northbound lanes on Liliha Street near Ekekela Street until they completed an investigation at about 10:30 p.m.
