Hawaiian Electric Co. crews working through the night have restored power to customers on Round Top.

Power was restored at 7:30 a.m., said HECO spokesman Darren Pai.

Police received a call at 7:12 p.m. Wednesday night about a transformer explosion on Maunalaha Road near the top of Round Top.

Pai said there was no transformer explosion, but that a tree fell, knocking down a utility pole and cutting power to 30 customers.

Maunalaha Road is not near the "top" of Round Top Drive. It is at the bottom.
