Police arrested and charged a 46-year-old man Wednesday for allegedly cutting a 27-year-old man's thumb.

Police said the two men were arguing 10:44p.m. Monday when the older man allegedly used a knife to cut the other man's thumb.

Police arrived, found the suspect and arrested him on suspicion of second-degree assault.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released.

Benjamin Defiesta was charged Wednesday with first-degree terroristic threatening.
