Prosecutors charged a 67-year-old homeless man Thursday for allegedly throwing an object at a passing vehicle on Pali Highway in Nuuanu, injuring a passenger.

Bruce McCrosson was charged with first-degree criminal property damage, a Class B felony. His bail was set at $11,000.

Police said McCrosson allegedly threw the object at a moving vehicle 3:45 p.m. Wednesday. Police said the windshield shattered as a result and the glass fell onto a 17-year-old girl inside the vehicle, causing bodily injury.

Police arrested McCrosson 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on Nuuanu Avenue.
