Fire caused about $100,000 damage to a Front Street house and its contents in Lahaina this morning, a Maui County fire spokesman said.

Firefighters from Lahaina, Napili, Wailuku, and Kahului responded to a report of a structure fire at 321 Front St. at 6:04 a.m. Firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from the roof in the rear of the home.

The fire was concentrated in the floor between the first and second stories of the building, said Fire Services Chief Lee Mainaga. The fire was extinguished at 8:18 a.m.

No injuries were reported and no one was displaced by the fire.

Fire cause could not be determined but is classified as accidental, Mainaga said.
