A Mokuleia brush fire that had burned Monday rekindled briefly Wednesday afternoon.
Firefighters quickly contained the quarter-acre blaze in Mokuleia past the Dillingham Airfield.
The first alarm came at 4:13 p.m. and was contained in 15 minutes after the first call.
One company and two tankers responded.
Firefighters had been called out to a fire on Monday, where there was a downed power line.
Fire Capt. Carlton Yamada said firefighters saturated the area to ensure the brush fire would not reignite.
