Police: Man arrested for choking family member

A 60-year-old man was arrested late Friday night for allegedly choking a 58-year-old woman during an argument, police said.

The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. in the Ewa Beach area. Police said the suspect punched, kicked, and choked the woman before another family member restrained the man.

Officers arrested him on suspicion of abuse of a household member, according to police records.
