Waialae Avenue lanes reopened following water main break

All lanes of Waialae Avenue between Koko Head Avenue and Center Street have been reopened following a water main break.

The closure began Wednesday shortly after 2 p.m. in front of 3604 Waialae Avenue, the Honolulu Board of Water Supply said.

A crew was dispatched to repair a 6-inch main break, a BWS spokeswoman said.

No customers were affected.

Stop the rail, our infrastructure is crumbling. This is occurs too frequently. Fix our sewers, water mains and sewers if you want to help with the congestion. All these factors ALWAYS slow traffic.
