Three officers saved a man from jumping off an overpass Wednesday night, Honolulu police said.

Police said the officers responded to a call about an 18-year-old man who wanted to jump off the overpass. One of the officers started talking to the man, while the other officers pulled him away from the overpass railing.

Police said, in a posting on the Honolulupd.org website, that the incident happened on the leeward side, but did not give a specific location. They also didn’t say what time the incident happened.
