Man charged with allegedly damaging woman’s vehicle

Prosecutors Wednesday charged a 44-year-old Nanakuli man with first-degree criminal property damage for allegedly chasing down a 42-year-old woman and damaging her vehicle with his on July 6.

Police said Daniel Vierra saw her driving and allegedly chased her in his vehicle and then overtook her as she was in a turning lane.

Police said he then stopped in front of her, and alegedly reversed his vehicle into hers, damaging it. He then got out and punched her vehicle’s front windshield and shattered the glass.

Police located Vierra and arrested him Tuesday. Bail was set at $50,000.
