The trial of a 64-year-old Kalihi man charged with trying to kill a man with a knife after hitting on the head with a board at bus stop last year, will begin in late September.
Louis Andrew Bradley was charged with second-degree attempted murder after he attacked a 34-year-old man who was sitting near a bus stop near Mayor Wright Homes on April 22, 2012. Bradley allegedly hit his victim on the head with a wooden board. The victim fought back until Bradley pulled out a knife and allegedly stabbed the younger man in the chest before fleeing.
Bradley turned himself in at Honolulu’s main police station on May 17, 2012. He is being held at Oahu Community Correctional Center in lieu of $100,000 bail. Bradley entered a plea of not guilty at his Circuit Court arraignment this morning. His trial is schedule to begin the week of Sept. 30.
