Police release videos of gunman in 2 store robberies

Honolulu Police detectives released security camera videos of a suspect or suspects who robbed Ono’s Market on Kalihi Street on July 19 and the Yobo Mart store on Pensacola Street.

Both videos show a suspect wearing a long-sleeve shirt, shorts and slippers brandishing a handgun and demanding money, although police are not saying if the cases are related.

The Ono’s Market robbery happened at 5:16 a.m. and the Yobo Mart store was robbed at 7:38 p.m.

Police are asking anyone with information on the cases to call detectives or CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or text *CRIME on a cellular phone.
