Police Thursday morning arrested a 27-year-old man who was allegedly rifling through a refrigerator in a 78-year-old man’s garage in Hawaii Kai.

The resident said he saw an unknown man searching through his refrigerator at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

When the resident approached him, the suspect told him not to call police and fled.

Police located the man at a nearby house and arrested him on suspicion of first-degree burglary.
