Koko Head shooting range closed due to septic tank problem

The Koko Head Shooting Complex was closed Friday due to a problem with the septic tank.

A private vendor is attempting to clear the system, but officials said the vendor is still trying to identify the problem.

Department of Parks and Recreation officials hope the problem could be cleared so theshooting range could open Saturday.

Incredibly poor management t the range. This problem wouldn't be an issue with proper maintenance. The range is only open part-time, unless you're with HPD, then sky's the limit
