Officer catches teenager spray-painting building

A teenager allegedly spray painting graffiti on the side of Waianae store was caught by an officer on routine patrol, police said.

The teenage boy tried to run away, but the officer was able to catch him Saturday morning. The officer arrested the boy for suspicion of criminal property damage and trespassing.
