Police: United flight attendant murdered on Guam

HAGATNA, Guam >> Police in Guam say the death of a 55-year-old woman has been reclassified as a homicide.

The body of Shelly Bernstein was found just after midnight Tuesday morning in her first-floor apartment in Tamuning on the western shore of Guam.

Police after the discovery said she had suffered a head injury.

Guam Memorial Hospital Nursing Supervisor Jo Eustaquio tells Pacific Daily News that medics reported the woman had suffered a gunshot wound.

Bernstein was a United Airlines flight attendant.
