Speaking of attempted murder and town side--there was a reputed stabbing just last night near Aala Park in Chinatown. Was probably gang/drug related--so perhaps this may be why it did not make the news.

Can I be the first to make some ridiculous observation? Let's see. Typical Kakaako man. They are all like that. 30 year olds are all very dangerous. Anyone named Son shoud be imprisoned for a very long time.

Not getting your cynicism (if any), but spare the rod was probably his MO, but than again 'kids' rule the world. Dangerous object? What SA was it...his water hose on a speeding hotrod, that made him swerve? Don't know what SA is trying to pull here, but if it was that serious, his bail would be set at >$100,000 or maybe the guy is really an up standing citizen in the community.

Dang it. That's another $190k a year out of our pockets to feed and house a piece of scum. Cheaper to just let him go. Maybe that's why we keep hearing about repeat offenders. Must be a better and cheaper way to deal with scum.

Oh, why didn't the 17 year old walk away? Jan Futa should also charge the other guy with murder based on her arguments in the Deedy case....

The more I think about this, the more I think a person has to be insane to do anything like this. I mean, in my mind, there's no distinction with degrees of murder. I mean, what's the point in discussing ATTEMPTED MURDER, when the gist of the moment was: KILL KILL! THere's the same kind of sentiments at UH Football games. KILL KILL!! UH fans are insane. (Watch the fireworks fly with this statement!!). Case made.
