Firefighters are battling a small brush fire Saturday on Oahu’s North Shore, Honolulu fire officials said.

The fire stated around 7:50 a.m. at the end of Poohaili street in Laie about a mile uphill and southeast of remnants from a Friday afternoon brush fire.

Officials said the blaze is about 1.5 acres in size and should be extinguished by around 3 p.m. Firefighters had it contained around 12:20 p.m.

Four engine companies, a helicopter, and a battalion chief are helping to put out the blaze.

Officials said the cause has not yet been determined.
