Rescue crews aid injured woman on Kauai

Kauai fire rescue personnel assisted a 53-year-old Kalaheo woman who was injured while walking near Kawaikoi Stream in Kokee Saturday.

According to fire officials, the woman fell and injured her neck around 12:40 p.m.

Rescuers airlifted the woman from the scene to a landing zone at Waimea Canyon Park, where she was then transferred to the care of paramedics.
