Police arrested a 58-year-old man after he was caught allegedly shoplifting from the same Waikiki business from which he had been previously banned.

According to police, David Leister, who does not have a local address, was given a trespasss warning on Sept. 1 and told to stay away from the Food Pantry on Kuhio Avenue.

On Friday, Leister was stopped for shoplifting at the store and arrested.

He was charged this evening with second-degree burglary. His bail was set at $11,000.
