HARTFORD, Conn. >> Officials say an inmate at Hartford Correction Center is dead after an apparent suicide.

Corrections officials say 31-year-old John Matthew Tyhurst was found unresponsive Friday night with a ligature around his neck. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The Pearl City, Hawaii man had been held since July 30 on charges of employing a minor in an obscene performance.

The state corrections department says Tyhurst was alone in his cell when he was found. A state medical examiner will determine the manner and cause of death.

When they go to heaven they will have love. Also those criminals who commit suicide are loved by us taxpayers for saving us huge amounts of money.
