Police catch robbery suspect in Waikiki

Police caught a robbery suspect who allegedly stole items from a woman in Waikiki early Sunday morning, police said.

A 20-year-old man allegedly shoved a woman and took her property around 2:20 a.m., according to police records.

The woman flagged down an officer and pointed out the man, police said.

Police arrested the man on suspicion of second-degree robbery 25 minutes after the incident near 2237 Kuhio Ave.
