I bought my neighbor's teen a set of jack stands for his car repairs so he can practice safety.

See my You Tube video "Pedestrian near Freeway Exit", which happened two years ago at about 8:45pm on a weekday in Kalihi. There are some desperate people that WANT to get run over so one needs to keep a very good eye on the road.

Scary is being a foster child on Spirit Lake Indian Reservation in North Dakota. You'll most likely get assaulted or killed before you reach 18.

Wish there was more information. Was the guy fixing his truck in the dark? Did he pass out drunk behind the truck and someone drove ocer him? High school kids could do better reporting.

Probably sleeping on the road with the driver backing up and did not notice. Reminds of the situation where the 2 year old got run over in McCully. So the sidewalk law has its merits.

Reminds me of the drunk in Pacific Palisades who lay down in the road one night. While a witness called 9-1-1, a passing car runs over the drunk, killing him.

Maybe he was drunk and decided to take a nap.
