LAS VEGAS >> Caesars Entertainment is getting rid of thousands of items that have been collecting dust in warehouses around Las Vegas.

The 14,000 items being sold off from Friday through Monday at the Rio casino include chairs, lampshades, bed frames and tools from hotels such as the Flamingo Las Vegas and Caesars Palace.

But the collection also includes some oddball finds, including a giant sign that adorned the Italian restaurant Rao’s and statues of lounging Greek goddesses.

Sale organizers from Munari Auctions say the casinos are getting rid of outdated gear to make room for valet parking and guest amenities.

Potential buyers can check out the goods in person starting at 10 a.m. each day, or can view the selection online at ProxiBid.com.
