Man spots theft suspect rummaging through car in Waikiki

Police nabbed a suspected thief after a man reported seeing a woman rummaging through his car's trunk in the Waikiki area, police said.

Officers arrested a 19-year-old woman, with no local address, near Monsarrat and Paki avenues on suspicion of unauthorized entry into a motorized vehicle at about 12:40 a.m. Sunday morning, according to police records.
