Police arrested an 18-year-old man after he allegedly tried to steal items from a Waikiki grocery store.

Police said the suspect, who was previously given a trespasss warning, entered the store shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday and took merchandise.

The suspect dropped the merchandise as he was leaving and shoved a security guard and a store employee while trying to flee. He was located nearby and arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary and harassment.
