An inmate who escaped from the Waiawa Correctional Facility Saturday was found at a Honolulu hospital Tuesday.

Police learned Raphael Hernandez was at the Queen’s Medical Center. Hernandez, 32, was arrested for second-degree escape at 3:15 p.m today, but remained at Queen’s this evening .

State sheriffs and police launched a search Saturday after the minimum-security inmate was reporting missing at 6 a.m. Saturday. 

Hernandez was serving a five-year sentence for promotion of a dangerous drug.
