A motorcyclist sustained a serious ankle injury Friday evening after he apparently lost control of his motorcycle and crashed at the intersection of Kinau and Keeaumoku streets.
Paramedics took the man, believed to be in his 50s, to the hospital in serious condition just before 7 p.m.
Police closed Keeaumoku Street at Kinau Street while they investigated the crash.
