Kauai Circuit Judge Randal N.A. Valenciano sentenced a 44-year-old Anahola man Thursday to 10 years in prison for holding a woman captive in a Safeway story for an hour and a half in October 2012 and forcing her to take $600 out of an ATM for him.
Blaine Reyes, age 44 of Anahola, was convicted of kidnapping and robbery in the second degree.
Valenciano also ordered Reyes to pay back the $600 in restitution and to have no contact with the victim.
