Woman charged in stabbing in Kapahulu

Police have charged a 44-year-old Moiliili woman in connection with the stabbing of a 27-year-old woman last week in Kapahulu.

Yoko Kato was arrested Friday morning at her Young Street residence and charged Saturday with second-degree attempted murder.

According to police, the victim sustained substantial bodily injury as a result of the alleged Oct. 25 attack.

Kato's bail was set at $150,000.
