Police blocked off the Pearl City bike path off of Lehua Avenue to investigate a shooting that occurred near ABC Used Auto Parts, located at 794 Lehua Ave.

Police  are looking for a gunman who seriously wounded a 49-year-old man Monday off a dirt road in Pearl City town.

A police detective said they are not sure what happened since the victim was incoherent and unable to disclose details of the shooting to police.

Honolulu Police Department spokeswoman Michelle Yu said the possible suspect and victim are reportedly known to one another. Both are known to police.

Officers were called to 96-123 Waiawa Road in Pearl City and discovered the man with multiple shots to his body and limbs, police said.

Emergency Medical Services paramedics responded to the 1:05 p.m. shooting and transported the man by ambulance in serious but stable condition to the Queen’s Medical Center.
