The UCLA football team wasn't the only winner during a homecoming game Saturday night against Colorado.

In front of Fox Sports television cameras, Honolulu deputy prosecutor Nick Lee proposed to fellow Iolani School graduate and Honolulu deputy prosecutor, Jamie Nomura, who graduated from UCLA.

Lee graduated from Iolani in 1999 and Nomura, a former UCLA cheerleader, graduated high school in 2003.

Nomura said "yes."

The Bruins won the game 45-23.

It would only be newsworthy if they were the same sex, then I could see the relevance of this making the breaking news.

she graduated h.s. in 2003 and she's still a cheerleader in 2013? that makes her 28ish. just curious.

In situations like this the guy needs to bring a paper sack just in case the woman changes her mind.

OKay I'm a bit confused here. The article said Nomura is a former UCLA cheerleader that graduated from UCLA but yet in the video it shows her as a CURRENT UCLA cheerleader. As usual shoddy reporting from the SA.
