Man arrested for allegedly firing gun in air

Police arrested a 24-year-old Kalihi man, who allegedly fired his pistol several times in the air.

Officers arrested the man Tuesday after residents reported hearing gunshots around 8:30 a.m.

Police searched the area and arrested the suspect several hours later on suspicion of reckless endangering and a firearms violation.
