Showers possible through afternoon for Oahu, forecasters say

The National Weather Service in Honolulu issued a short-term forecast for Oahu this afternoon, saying sea breezes will produce spotty, briefly heavy showers.

The forecast mentioned interior and mountain areas of Oahu as well as the south shore.

It expired at 4 p.m. when showers were expected to diminish rapidly, forecasters said.

Guy Hagi didn't say anything about heavy rain in his report last night. These weather people don't know sh** about predicting weather, almost always wrong. But still the best weather on the planet I guess.
