Man, 2 kids, seriously hurt when truck overturns near Makua

A 35-year-old man and two male children, ages 3 and 9, were seriously injured when the truck they were in rolled over on Farrington Highway near Makua Cave.

The crash occurred around 6:40 p.m. and prompted the closure of both lanes of the highway until 9 p.m.

According to Emergency Medical Services, all three victims were riding in the cab of the truck. They were transported by paramedics to an area hospital.
