Waikiki assault sends 2 men to hospital, suspect arrested

A 23-year-old Kalihi man allegedly assaulted two men outside a Waikiki nightclub early this morning, sending the men to the hospital, police said.

The incident occurred on the sidewalk along Kuhio Avenue around 3:55 a.m., according to police records. Officers arrested the suspect around 4:25 a.m. near 2301 Kuhio Ave. on suspicion of two counts of second-degree assault.

The victims, ages 23 and 22, were taken by ambulance to a hospital. Police did not give their condition.
