The cops aren't there to see who can win; they're there to win, period. That's kind of the point.

Only a stupid person would challenge a uniformed, fully-equipped, on-duty cop to a fight. Whoever you are....you stupid!

I wonder if the deal is changing for police? In the old days, they were the only ones "trained" to fight, with the exception of the boxers and asian martial arts guys (karate, kung fu, etc.). But, the boxers and asian martial artists were also trained NOT to fight except inside the ring or on the mat. The old days' street fighters' only training was their once or twice a week beefs in the bar parking lots. Nowadays, everyone is an MMA fighter. Different perspective, less "restraint" training and philosopy, TV glorification of street fighting. Tough to be a cop nowadays, I bet.

This is really funny - the cops should have taken a video and charged people an on line fee to watch people who lack the intelligence gene.

In the old days, the karate and boxing instructors taught their students that their skills were only to be deployed in the ring or on the mat. Now, we have MMA.
