A traffic dispute early Sunday morning in Waikiki led to the arrest of a 37-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man.

According to police, the woman was involved in a traffic incident with a group of people in another car. The group damaged the woman’s car and she responded by cutting two of them — a 19-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman — with a dangerous instrument.

The woman, who has a Schofield Barracks address, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of second-degree assault. A 24-year-old Aiea man who was in the second car was also arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault for allegedly kicking the woman during the confrontation.
