A 23-year-old man has been listed as among "Hawaii Island's Most Wanted."

Boaz David Johnson is wanted in a murder investigation involving the strangulation of his girlfriend, Brittany-Jane Royal, whose body was found in the ocean off Kalapana on May 28.

Johnson is described as Caucasian, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 pounds in weight, with a slim build and fair complexion.

He has a tattoo of the upper body of a horse near the right side of his abdomen and was last seen unshaven and with medium-length brown hair, police said.

Another man, Thomas J. Desimone, 43, is wanted for questioning about two thefts and a burglary in Puna.

He's described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 170 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair, a mustache, and goatee.

Hawaii County also police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a Hilo robbery.

The 43-year-old female victim said she was walking with a bicycle on Mililani Street between Piilani Street and Hualani Street when a man threatened her and demanded money.

The suspect, who fled with cash, is described as a local male between 5 feet 10 inches and 5 feet 11 inches in height, with a muscular build, dark brown eyes, very short black hair and a tan complexion.

Police said the suspect was wearing surf shorts and a dirty blue tank top.

Police ask that anyone with information about any of these men call the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.

All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential. Crime Stoppers does not tape record phone calls or subscribe to caller ID.
