Police release video of Waipio robbery suspect brandishing gun

CrimeStoppers and Honolulu police are asking for the public’s help in identifying an armed robbery suspect.

The man held up the Tesoro gas station at 94-1082 Ka Uka Boulevard in Waipio at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

Videos released by police shows the man, dressed in a long-sleeve red shirt, brandishing a handgun. Police said he demanded money and fled in an unknown direction.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, is about 5-feet tall with a slim build. He was also wearing dark shorts and a gray hat with the word “cult” embroidered on the front. He wore white shoes with black laces and white shocks.
