A Honolulu police officer, responding to a noise complaint at 4:08 a.m. in Makiki, was assaulted by a 34-year-old man, police said.
Officers arrested the suspect Thursday morning on suspicion of assault on a law enforcement officer and criminal property damage.
No information was released on the injuries suffered by the officer.
