The sun set under cloudy skies this evening. Kona winds will bring vog, humidity and possible showers to Oahu starting Wednesday night.

Southerly Kona winds are bringing humid conditions, vog and the chance of showers to the islands.

A cold front moving down from the northwest will likely bring clouds and showers over Kauai and Oahu today and move down the island chain, stalling near the Big Island Sunday, forecasters said.

The forecast for Honolulu calls for partly sunny skies, spotty showers and vog today and a 90 percent chance of rain tonight.

Friday morning should be cloudy with a chance of showers until the cold front passes in the afternoon.

The Big Island could see another round of heavy rain Sunday and Monday when the front stalls near the area.

Northerly winds behind the front will bring cool temperatures at night and in the early morning hours.
