Skydiver suffers neck injury in mid-flight over Waialua

Paramedics treated a man in his late-50s who apparently suffered a neck injury, mid-flight, while skydiving Friday morning above Dillingham Airfield, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.

Emergency crews responded to Pacific Skydiving Hawaii in Wailua at 9:30 a.m. and treated the man before taking him to the hospital in serious condition.


Paramedics responded to Pacific Skydiving Hawaii on Jan. 3 to treat a skydiver who sustained a neck injury in mid-flight. A previous version of this story named another company, Sky Dive Hawaii, based on incorrect information from EMS.
