A motorcyclist was critically injured when she hit a parked car on Kahuhipa Street at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Kaneohe.

Police said the motorcyclist, a 28-year-old Kahaluu woman, was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but was responding at the hospital.

Police said speed may have been a factor when the woman came down Kahuhipa, struck a car and landed under a parked truck. She was not wearing a helmet.

Kahuhipa was closed in both directions at Kumoo Loop until about 1:10 p.m.
