The hunters became separated after dark and the second hunter spent the night in the forest before walking out.

No worry about Pig Hunters. They can live off the land and find their way out in the day light. Sleeping over night in the forest is no big deal. Pig Hunter told me so. Said his 6th grader could lead us out on survival trip no problem. He's right mountain raised people have no fear of failing to thrive. Rescue not needed.

How come one of them was "airlifted out of the forest" and the other was "thirsty and tired" after one night? Not all pig hunters are "mountain raised people".

They probably just found him and offered a ride. Hey, I'd take it! It would be stupid to drink water from ground sources, don't want giardia. It shows good sense not to drink it. They were smart and didn't freak out.
