Man, 43, assaulted at Thomas Square

Police arrrested a 34-year-old woman, who allegedly injured a man, 43, at Thomas Square park Friday afternoon .

She assaulted the man with a weapon at 3:36 p.m. and officers arrested her at the park about 20 minutes later, police said.

She was released pending further investigation.
